The once heralded Faubourg Sainte-Catherine was run- down and largely inoccupied. It sat in a desolate portion of the densely populated Shaughnessy Village. The mixed use complex needed to reposition dramatically capture the captive student audience and Asian-immigrant residents surrounding it.
We created a 10,000 sqft anchor-tenant restaurant bar featuring an accessibly priced Asian menu by international star chef Antonio Park. The space formerly occupied by a movie rental store & hair salon was now revitalized as a entertainment destination attracting white-collar after-work professionals for diner, followed by university students at night. The eclectic design was selected in the 2017 Restaurant & Bar Design Awards and was applauded for its unique use of the space.
